East Van Bocce League — Sundays at Adanac Park (Mid July to Mid August)
Sea to Sky Sports is bringing team bocce to East Van.
This is a proper league: team against team, scheduled matches, standings, and a four-week season.
Games run Sundays from 5–8 pm at Adanac Park.
The first three weeks are regulation league play. Each team will play at least two other teams each Sunday. The fourth week will be finals, placement games, and the season wrap.
Bocce is built for this kind of evening: simple rules, real competition, picnic dinners, and enough room for people to play, watch, eat, talk, and stay a while.
Adanac is one of Vancouver’s designated parks where adults 19+ may have drinks in keeping with City rules. No glass. Keep it clean. Keep it sensible.
After games, teams can head to Steamworks, just around the corner.
Team Fee
Early Bird: $149 per team
Regular: $199 per team
Drop-In Bocce
We will also offer organized pay-to-play drop-in bocce.
Drop-in is separate from the league. No standings. No season commitment. Just sign up, show up, and play.
Drop-in: $10 per player
Four-week drop-in pass: $30

Adult 3v3 Soccer — Sunshine Coast
Tuesday evenings at Brothers Park
6:30–8:30 pm
Sea to Sky Sports is bringing adult 3v3 soccer to the Sunshine Coast.
3v3 is one of the fastest-growing small-sided formats in soccer because it strips the game down to what players actually want: more touches, more shots, more movement, and more time on the ball.
No giant roster. No full-field commitment. No waiting around for the game to come to you.
Just a sharp, simple soccer night at Brothers Park.
League Format
Games are played with 3 players per side on small fields with mini goals, and no goalies.
Teams will play regular league games, with standings and a playoff format at the end of the season. Depending on team numbers, each night may include one longer game or multiple shorter games.
The league runs Tuesday evenings from 6:30–8:30 pm at Brothers Park in Gibsons.
League Options
We are opening registration for:
Mixed Gender 3v3
Women’s 3v3
Men’s 3v3
Recommended Roster Size
The ideal roster is 5–6 players.
You only need 3 players on the field, but 3v3 moves quickly. A small bench keeps the game flowing and gives teams cover for substitutions and absences.

In 3v3, smaller rosters are better. The point is to play.
Who Can Register
You can register as:
A full team
A small group
An individual player looking for a team
This is an adult league. Players should be ready for a game that is active, fair, and competitive without being overcomplicated by anyone thinking a wrong out-call is a matter of life and death.

Registration is open for adult teams, small groups, and individual players.
Grass Court Pickleball Orientation / Demonstration Sessions
Brothers Field, Gibsons — BC’s Sunshine Coast (June & July)
Before we launch group sessions, leagues, or ladder play, we are offering booked orientation and demonstration sessions at Brothers Field in Gibsons.
This is our grass-court version of pickleball. We call it PicnicBall because it is designed for parks, fields, lawns, and the kind of social play that can happen almost anywhere you can lay out a court — or a picnic blanket — on grass.
But the sport is simple: grass-court pickleball. The game works on grass because we use a specialized ball that bounces the same way a pickleball does on asphalt.
These are sign-up only sessions. They are not drop-in.
Each session is 45 minutes and runs under the direction of a Sea to Sky Sports pickleball coach. We will go over the basic rules, techniques, shot types, and simple strategies so players can understand the game before regular play begins.
You can book a session as:
an individual
a pair
a small group
singles, doubles, or both, depending on numbers
Grass-court pickleball (PicnicBall) is open to all levels. You can be completely new to racket and paddle sports, or you can be a strong pickleball player looking for a way to play without having to compete for limited court space.
Our coaches are certified pickleball coaches and regional champions in singles and/or doubles pickleball.
Why Grass Court Pickleball?
Grass court pickleball — which we call PicnicBall — keeps the basic play of pickleball but changes the surface and the ball.
The result is a game that is still recognizably pickleball, but softer, quieter, and easier to set up in more places.
The ball we use is slightly slower than a standard pickleball, giving players more time to react. It also has a grippier feel off the paddle, so shots tend to come off more reliably, especially for newer players. That makes the game easier to learn without taking away the strategy, movement, and shot-making that experienced players enjoy.
Grass also makes sense.
There are only so many hardcourts. They are often full, noisy, expensive to build, and hard to book. Grass fields are far more common and provide a way to create playable courts in parks and open spaces without waiting years for new dedicated facilities.
PicnicBall is not meant to replace pickleball. It is a way to make the game more accessible, more flexible, and a little easier on the body.
For beginners, it is a softer entry point. For experienced players, it is pickleball on a new surface, with a softer rhythm, and offering similar technical, tactical, and strategic challenges.
